What is the best easiest way to install and set up my fingerprint door lock?

The complete installation video and fingerprint setting video have been uploaded on this web page and also in our instruction manual. Be sure to check them before you install and set up your new fingerprint door lock.

The fingerprint works for everyone I don't know how to fix it is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

The first registered fingerprint is the administrator's fingerprint, and the product is in test mode until the administrator's fingerprint is successfully entered. Any fingerprint in test mode can open the lock. You only need to enter your own fingerprint into the system.

Can the voice prompts for K1plus be changed to another language?

Step1 Remove the battery. Step2 Press and hold the function key. Step3 Install the battery (press and hold the function key when installing the battery). After a few seconds release the button voice will automatically switch to English.

How to unlock the lock when it is out of battery?

You can use a power bank for emergency power the lock to unlock, or use the backup mechanical key. In addition, this lock has a low battery reminder function to remind you to replace the new battery in time.

Is this water resistant?

Yes, it is. But prolonged exposure to rain will affect the product's lifespan. Suggest installing it on a door with eaves.

Why K7 is not working correctly, pressing the lock on causes the latch to unlock?

It is because of an error in your installation that causes the lock to work contrary to the instructions given by the user. Please check the instruction manual installation steps step 4.

Why doesn't the keyboard respond when I click on it? What can I do to wake up the keyboard?

The keyboard has an anti-touch function, if you want to wake up the keyboard please use 2-3 fingers to touch the keyboard gently.

What should I do if the latch gets stuck or doesn't operate properly after installation?

If the latch is stuck or does not work after installation, it may be due to the gear shaft being inserted in the wrong direction or at the wrong angle. Refer to the Owner's Manual to make the necessary adjustments before attempting to use it again.

I want to purchase a smart lock, but I'm not skilled at installing this type of product. What should I do?

What do I measure when replacing my Front Door?

If replacing the whole Entry, it is best to measure from the inside of doorway, jamb to jamb, or wall to wall.

What is the best way to determine door swing?

Of the many methods out there, we find it best to open the door and stand inside the doorway with your back to the hinges, or “Butt to Hinge”, and see which way the door is swung. If the door is to your right it is Right Hand Swing, if it is your left, it is Left Hand Swing.

Does door thickness matter?

Yes! Door thickness comes into play when looking at the difference between an Interior or Exterior Door. An Exterior Door is typically at least 1 ¾” thick to 2 ¼” depending on size of door. The thicker your door is will make your door more secure and prevent warping when exposed to the outside elements.

How do I know jamb size?

Typically, a Front Door or “Entry” is built on a 2x6 wall. This will require at least a 6-5/8” sized jamb to allow for the 2x6, sheetrock and OSB or sheeting on the outside. Sometimes under the sheetrock an additional sheet of plywood or OSB is attached. This will require another 1/2” or going to a 7-¼” Jamb or Frame.

What if I need my order sooner than your standard lead times?

We want to help you meet your deadlines, but we do have some limitations in order to provide the craftsmanship that we expect from each of our projects. We can try to work with you on meeting an order by date. The typical cost for expediting our production rates is 20% of the cost of that product. We can discuss options for rushing your ship rate as well. We will do all we can to help you get your order in time for your important deadlines.

How will I know when my order ships?

You will receive an email notifying you that your order has left our facility and is on its way to your home, or business. This email will provide a tracking number so you can track your shipment.
